On the 5th of December 2024, ATRAC held a workshop in Šibenik called ‘ Use of virtual reality in marine pollution challenges’. The workshop was organized in coordination with Šibenik-Knin County and was held in ‘Kanal Sv. Ante’ visitor centre. During this workshop, the attendees were shown the basics of marine oil pollution and how to respond if it happens. Also, the importance of aerial surveillance was highlighted, and the attendees were introduced to ATRAC’s VR tool for aerial surveillance of oil spills.
