On 29 October 2026, ATRAC conducted a tabletop exercise for the County Operational Centre (COC) of Šibenik-Knin County.

Prior to the exercise, ATRAC delivered a presentation to the COC members entitled “Accidental Marine Pollution – Refresher Training”, aimed at refreshing participants’ knowledge of the key aspects of responding to accidental marine oil pollution. The COC members were divided into two groups, with both groups being assigned the same scenario in which they assumed the role of the national incident management headquarters. Throughout the exercise, participants requested relevant information from ATRAC regarding the pollution incident and were tasked with developing a response plan based on the circumstances described in the scenario.

Once both groups had developed their response plans, they presented their proposed approaches, followed by a discussion that brought the tabletop exercise to a close.
