From May 6 to May 7, 2026, the 6th coordination meeting of the County Operational Centers (COCs) of the coastal counties of Croatia was held.

The coordination meeting took place on the island of Rab, and participants included members of the COCs from Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Lika-Senj County, Zadar County, Split-Dalmatia County, and Dubrovnik-Neretva County, as well as members of the County Port Authorities of Rab and Crikvenica and representatives of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. On the first day of the coordination meeting, county representatives presented the results from the previous two years related to accidental marine pollution incidents, while representatives of the Ministry provided information on the new Intervention Plan and the international exercise held in Dubrovnik at the end of last year. On the second day, a visit was organized to Goli Otok and Sveti Grgur, sites of particular significance located near the venue of this year’s coordination meeting.
