At the beginning of June, ATRAC was visited by representatives of the SIOT oil terminal in Trieste, Aldo Ugo (terminal manager), Mauro Szalay (operational manager) and Giovanni Balbo (HSSE Manager), to discuss future co-operation. TAL SIOT (Transalpine Pipeline) is the largest terminal in the Mediterranean, with over 600 ships that carry 40 million tonnes of crude oil. Transalpine oil pipeline supplies the big part of central Europe with oil and oil derivatives.
