The ‘ASAP’ project is focused on protecting the Adriatic Sea and the environment through education and awareness-raising activities, strengthening response capacities for accidental marine pollution incidents, and enhancing international cooperation among coastal states. The training course represented an important step toward achieving these objectives, providing participants with an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience.

The course participants included representatives of the Albanian Maritime Directorate, the Ministry of Defence, the Port of Durrës, the Port of Shëngjin, the Prefecture of Vlora, IMOC, the Durrës Port Authority, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy. During the course, participants were introduced to topics related to At-sea response and Shoreline cleanup.
