ATRAC delivers training course within the PEPSEA project
On 01.-02. of March, ATRAC held the second of the planned five trainings within the project PEPSEA – Protecting the Enclosed Parts of the Sea in the Adriatic from Pollution. The venue was the premises of the Sveti Florijan Fire Center in Kaštel Gomilica. Considering the risk of pollution of the sea and the marine environment in the area of Kaštela Bay, the equipment procured by Split-Dalmatia County as part of the project was given to the Fire Brigade Center in Kaštel Gomilica. Accordingly, ATRAC delivered a two-day training primarily to firefighters, but also to other participants in charge of responding to accidental marine pollution in the area. The training was also attended by representatives of Italian civil protection, specifically the province of Rovigo. In addition to the training, a tour of the pilot site was organized, where part of the purchased equipment is situated.
