The project “Capacity Enhancing of the Albanian Marine Pollution Preparedness and Response System” is funded by the Central European Initiative (CEI) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy. The main goal of the program is to transfer knowledge and experience from EU countries to non-EU CEI Member States..

As the project leader, ATRAC organized a Project Opening Conference and a Workshop titled “Raising Awareness on Pollution in the Adriatic Sea” on May 27–28, 2025, in Durrës, Albania.

The Conference and Workshop brought together representatives of the Albanian preparedness and response system, including relevant ministries, institutions, and local authorities.
