ATRAC organized a workshop titled “Eco Alarm: Marine Pollution from Ships” on October 17, 2024, in collaboration with Split-Dalmatia County. The workshop was aimed at third and fourth-grade high school students in the fishing and nautical program at the Maritime school in Split.

The students were presented with the importance of raising awareness about the need to preserve and protect the Adriatic Sea, the types of marine pollution from ships, and their impact on human life and marine organisms. In the second part of the workshop, the students had the opportunity to try the VR goggles, ATRAC’s new educational tool for accidental marine pollution, which includes a simulation for observing pollution from the air.
