On February 8th, 2024, ATRAC held an Open-Door Day to commemorate nine years since its establishment. This event was attended by representatives of all important stakeholders in the field oil spill preparedness and response, such as Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, several Harbour Master’s Offices, several members of Croatian coastal counties, Dezinsekcija, INA, LUVETI, La Fornitrice, Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka, CIKLON, CIAN, Civil Protection of Croatia and MRCC.

ATRAC held two presentations, one of which was focused on ATRAC’s activities through the last few years, as well as events and training courses it has planned for this year. The second presentation was focused on bringing attention to major cases that have happened in past years, in some of which ATRAC was contacted to be a part of the on-scene consulting team.

The event was closed with a discussion amongst the attendees and questions they had for ATRAC’s team.
