Conferece: Marine Litter – Free Tides of Changes

ATRAC participated in the conference: “Marine Litter – Free Tides of Changes”, which took place from November 4-6, 2024, in Split. The Sunce Association facilitated the gathering of various experts from Croatia, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, and France, all of whom are involved in marine ecosystem protection, covering areas from a wide range of sectors. This includes scientific institutions, Civil Protection of the Republic of Croatia, the Italian Coast Guard, ministries, associations, etc. The main goal of the conference was the protection of marine ecosystems from pollution, with a particular focus on plastic. Knowledge and experience were shared with other participants through examples of best practices, discussions, and the presentation of innovative solutions. Additionally, great attention was given to raising awareness among young people and involving them in marine protection.
