From 12-13 of September 2023, ATRAC held its first training course in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This training course was held in Zenica and it was organized by Delta Petrol d.o.o., which is the only specialized firm authorized for responding to natural disasters in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This training course gathered professionals from the area of ecological rehabilitation, area of ecology, and a number of members from private and public companies (EPBiH, TE Kakanj, HE na Neretvi, JP Autoceste FBiH, Heidelberg Cement Kakanj, AC Mittal Zenica, ALBA d.o.o. Zenica, Natron Hayat Maglaj, Rafinerija ulja Modriča, Holdina d.o.o. Sarajevo and others) from different areas of the industry. ATRAC shared its knowledge of response to accidental pollution cases on water and how to properly handle them, as well as how to clean them up. A great number of participants from different sectors in the industry resulted with a quality discussion that will lead to solutions and it opens up new opportunities for cooperation and better prevention of problems for all parties that are involved.
