On February 02, 2018, the third anniversary of the ATRAC was celebrated. ATRAC’s open door’s day was held in premises of the Centre in Rijeka and was inaugurated with the introductory words of director Vedran Martinić, president of the governing council Boris Mijolović and head of the Department of the Maritime Affairs, Traffic and Connections of Primorje-Gorski kotar County, Nada Milošević, who all emphasized the importance of the Centre’s work. In the continuation of the program, ATRAC presented activities and the most significant cases of sea pollution in the past year as well as plans and activities that the Centre intends to carry out in the 2018.

The Open door’s day was supported by representatives of the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure and representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Croatia. There were also guests and associates from coastal counties, Coast guard officers, Harbour captains and representatives of the Port authorities, Maritime Faculty of Rijeka, as well as marine pollution specialists and representatives of Adriatic pipeline. ATRAC is also recognized in the neighbouring Adriatic countries, so there were also representatives of Montenegro and Slovenia.
